I replaced the powerhead on my DT175 (1987) with the powerhead from a DT150SS. Used my carbs, etc. But did not change inlet case or reed valves over. Book says the reed vlvs are different, online IPC and marina IPC show it to be the same part number. Motor has trouble idling, runs better (not great yet) at high RPM. I am re-checking carb settings, and start vlv. Any thoughts on reed vlvs? I hate to tear in there again just to verify they are the same....
