Correct hub kit for SS prop/Volvo SX drive

I bought a used SS prop for my SX. The guy told me it was off and SX, I looked at his boat and drive...it looked like an SX. But it is now obvious that it was actually a 15 spline OMC because it doesn't fit my 19 spline SX. So now I need to re-hub the prop and want to make sure I don't buy the wrong thing again.

The prop is 14.5"/19p. The only numbers stamped into it are 8661 which I can't seem to identify with a manufacuter. The hub is 4.5" long and measures 2.5" on the drive side and 1-3/8 on the nut side.

Can anyone tell me which hub kit I need to fit my SX drive? Also are there any tricks to pressing the old hub out and getting the new one in?

Ayuh,... If it's the ole style pressed in rubber hub,... Ya need to take it to a Prop Shop to change it....

If it's the new style plastic multi-piece hub,...
Ya, just buy the 1 ya need, 'n change the splined thrust connector...

This most definitely has the old style pressed hub. I have a press, should I not attempt to press the old hub out and a new one in? I was hoping to purchase the correct hub and install it myself since I already threw away money on this one. I just want to cut my losses at this point.

So how can I figure out what hub I need? Are the props all fairly universal?

I pressed the old one out...that was easy. Now I just need to find which kit to order.

Ok, I think I found the right hub. Solas part #VE-RB-1. I am going to get one coming and press it in myself. I will post my results.
