i have cooling problem with a mercruiser 120 hp 4 cil eng. overheat twice i change impeller, water is flowing thru but is mixing with the oil i remove the head and find few holes cloged and debris the gasket look fine what you think the problem is.

If you are certain that the gasket sealed and head is not warped ,then you will have to consider a cracked block.Are you in an area that has freezing temps for more than a couple hours a night?That can be all it takes.

did you remove all the other passages the water passes through ? Hoses,thermostat housing etc. check them for blockage as well.....does the temp. rise straight up or does it take awhile ? how much oil are we talking here ?

i don,t know is the head is warped until monday went i take to be tested. <br />this eng. was on unheated garage for 2 years <br />this is the first time it run since

yes i check all the passages i find a lot blockage but all the oil is mix with water
