Hi All<br />I have a Evinrude #60173 year: 1971 HP: 60 hydro electric I changed thermostat and water pump impellar since i just got engine and didnt know history, ran it on muffs checking charging problem after 10 mins or so of idle and a few sec. of higher rpm got the over heat horn , i shut it down it doesnt have the tell-tale hole on this engine. my question is could it be that the muffs arent enough would it work better on lake or should i drop lower unit again?
