Replaced a missing core plug on the head, ran the garden directly to the raw water pump on the engine to prime the system so I don't fire it up dry, started it up and it ran for about 20 seconds and WATER!! everywhere..... found a bad core plug in the block behind the exhaust manifold and a leak around the copper tube going to the oil cooler. Looks like there should be an o-ring in there but there's none.

Does anyone make a seal kit for the cooling system? Even though there are several well stocked marine store in my area, they come up empty on a drive this old. The core plug I installed was purchased from an auto parts store (Dorman brand) when alll the marine stores came up empty. I'd much rather get this done in one shot rather than run all over...

Over $350 of 'Maintenance parts' listed that aren't even used on the AQ130. I've seen this before with other online stores, I don't think it's intentional, just sloppy cut and paste work. But someone who wants to do complete maintenance and checks every box is going to wonder where the antifreeze is going to go....

Yes, I am a picker of nits. Just shows how important model numbers are.

On the plus side, nice exploded view drawings, easy to see what you need once you get the right sub-assembly.
