Are these systems totally separate....I seem to have exhaust blowing out with the water from the cooling syst. Motor has not been on the water yet just run in barrel up to 1500 rpm...seems to run & idle fine.<br /><br />I'm thinking its just hot air as the cooling syst is purged...I have a '61 40 hp ...and it seems I get more water exiting in the 1st 2 minutes. I realize at low rpm far less water exits that at high rpm...this blowing air or exhaust puzzles me.
