I have a 2007 Sea Ray 220 Select with 5.0 mercruiser. I started after it up after being parked for the winter and it seems to not be picking up the water like it should. The boxes on top of the manifolds got very warm and steam was coming of the rubber elbows. It did not set off the overheating alarm however. I shut it down and took out the drain plugs to see if there was water in the block. There was some, but not the amount of pressure there normally is when I remove them. Any ideas anyone?
