Cooling convertion + ECU

I believe i have seen somewhere that Mercruiser specify a different ECU if a newer model 5.7 350 is fitted with complete closed cooling.

Has anyone had experience in refitting later models 5.7 350 with complete closed cooling and ECU?

Im considering a SJE cooling kit.

Anyone who could direct me to someone at SJE that could inform me of this?

Sorry Don i dont have that.

Im in the market for a Bayliner 285 2003 and up and they all come with the Merc 5.7 MPI, most raw water cooled.

I will try to get the serial on the boat im investigating now.

Heres some info on the engine.

Engine Make: Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI
Engine Serial No: OM600146
Model Year: 2003
System Type: MerCruiser PCM555
Engine diagnostics says 55 hours.
