converting rpms to mph

So i bought my first boat a party barge 20 with a mercury 60hp motor im trying this trolling thing out here in oklahoma it tells me i need to be going at about 1 to 2 mph but i have no idea how to convert it over any help would be wonderful and greatly appreciated

I dont know the formula but we go out with a portable navi from car tells mph . One or two miles an hour thats like just putting it in drive.

Pick up a cheap GPS. That'll do the trick.

The cheap GPS is the trick and if still to fast a trolling plate will slow it down more....

Interesting I never heard of a trolling plate. No wonder i can,t catch fish here in FL I,m going to dang fast l;ol

I recommend you target faster fish!
