Convert Yamaha stern drive's risers and manifolds

Capt. Ken i need help...

Im looking at converting my Yamaha stern drive's risers and manifolds to Mercruiser. Will this Exhaust Kit work for my 305?(http://www.dougrussell.com/Products/index.cfm?fuseaction=ProductDetails&ProductID=150&Category=7&Brand=129)

Also what Theromstate Housing should i use?

If you have half way decent mechanical abilities, then go for it and use a Mercruiser thermostat housing. If you are not into reverse engineering to make something fit, find someone who is.

Im have about 2/3 decent mechanical abilities
Looking at the Mercruiser thermostat housings i see a bunch. not sure which to use. What would you use?
