Convert trailer from rollers to boards

82 caulkins trailer that hauls a 67 starcraft 18'<br />Very hard to load.I hate this roller stuff,Hard to align,when in current and wind.I just want to run on and be done.Thoght about alignment poles for this trailer,but don't want to spend the money if I break or bend them over.Can I convert or should I buy a new trailer,and what type is best. Thanks

Adding bunks to a trailer is easy....<br />Basspro, west marine etc... probably Iboats... sell the brackets, hook to trailer with U-Bolts.<br /><br />You can make the bunks yourself.. 2x6 with marine carpet.<br /><br />I made side bunks for my trailer, I used 3M marine adhesive under the carpet. I wasn't happy with folding over and using staples, so I used 1" drywall screws with 1/4" washers, and it held the carpet VERY well.
