I would be concerned about it not being weather proof--including not handling salt air well. I know what it does to beach trucks.

Re: convert to automotive ignition

Lots of people have attempted converting those things to battery ignition. I'm still waiting for someone to report long term success.

CDI 113-7123
OMC 777647

Neither are real hard to get.

It's the distributor and rotor that are the real killers on the wallet.

ecu , it is extremely rude to steal (hijack) someone else's thread. We strongly discourage it.

Please start your own thread.

Thank you for your future cooperation.

No problem, but I thought it was on the exact subject and along the answers the OP was seeking and I added what i thought were the pieces he was looking for. Complimenting his post I thought. A little quick on the trigger tonight, but no problems and I apologize if I inadvertently did wrong.

No big deal ecu, and most forums do work the way you're thinking and encourage grouping of similar posts. However we do things a little differently here. (it's driven mainly by our repair sections where rarely are two poster's situation truly identical). This one would be better addressed in the Chrysler section anyway. Welcome to the forum.
