Hi, Ya'll... I've got a question for some of you motor heads out there. I just got a OMC 25 HP (Johnson) outboard motor. It's a tiller-steering model, with electic start and manual tilt and trim. I believe that the Model # is J25TESS, 2000 model.<br /><br />Questions is ~ is there a way to "convert" the motor to remote-steering, with a kit that has motor speed controls and steering?<br /><br />OEM kit would be great, but I don't know if they do this. I don't really care for the gear shift is remote, but I would like to put a center console into my skiff with steering and throttle.<br /><br />Aftermarket would be just fine, but I can't find any kits in my area...<br /><br />Any insight is welcome. Thanks in advance.
