Convert Mariner 40 2 stroke to electric start

i have just brought a boat with the above engine on and am wondering how easy and cheap it would be to convert to electric start, does anybody know<br /><br />cheers<br />Si

welcome aboard,<br />afraid more info is required. provide the year<br />of mfg. and serial number and we'll try to help.

Thanks for the quick reply, will have a look for the plate tonight, for the serial number, dont know the year, but i guess it would be on the plate. thanks<br />Si

Hello, cant find a plate. the model is a 40m and it is prob maybe an 1984 build, hope this helps<br /><br />Si
