conversion of 30hp johnson

Hi LAR,<br />t is easy, just get an electric start kit from an OMC dealer. I don't have any books at home to tell you the price, but the dealer can help you. Get a battery charging kit while your at it if it doesn't come with it.<br /><br />...have fun...corm

I dount think thats possible. According to my Johnson cataloge the 25hp is 500cc and the 35hp is 565cc which means there both runing on diffrent engine blocks. Futher more i wouldnt go playing with oil injected carb that is variably blending while pushing the gas.<br />The most i can tell you is to try useing stainless steel props and play with diffrent pitches...raise the engine one bolt or so...trim engine properly while underway...perhaps buy a hydrofoil(doel-fins are my preference)...stuff like that.-Erik
