controls for my Nissan

I have a 14' fisher aluminum boat with a 9.9 hp. Nissan tiller steered outboard (both are 1987).
what I would like to do is add a side console with steering and controls. Can anybody tell me what I would need to buy to do the motor controls (control, cables etc.) and steering? I can get a aluminum side console from Iboats so that is not a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

FJ,

Rigging a boat can be very expensive if need to purchase "everything" to do so.
If I was you, I would be looking for a good used boat that's already rigged with side-console, and remote.
I have rebuilt boats in the past, and its a lot of work and $$ rigging up boats.

Besides, it gives you an excuse to "upgrade" to a good 25-30 HP.
