Control Cable lengths for 18' SS?

Putting on a 89' Yami 130 on my 1974 18' SS rebuild. I need to purchase new control cables so I need the exact length. I've been told to measure it and add 18" and round up but I rather get an official length from someone with the same boat now. Thanks!

PS- Anyone know of a place to buy em cheap and suggested make and model? I had a old Johnson 115 (73') and I can imagine they are different for the Yami.

Why would they be any different length than what you have for the engine you have on the boat now ? Unless you're moving the control.. it's the same lenght, you'll also need a new control and wiring harness, and rewire some of the gauges (depending on what you have)
