control cable adjustments

I just got the control cables for 115 hp johnson motor and I was wondering if there are any tricks or things to look for when I put them on and adjust them? I have two cables one for the throttle and one for the trans. I have a high idle lever on the control box as well. Thanks in advance.<br /><br />Sb

To do it properly, you may need to do a "link & sync" which requires a shop manual. <br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

I have the clymers manual for the engine, however it doesn't have any specs for cable adjustments. Can you give me any advice on where to look?<br /><br />Sb
