Having a weird situation that I can't figure out. Every once in a while, I will get a continuous alarm if my T50 is idling in neutral for an extended period.

This never happens in gear...even during prolonged running at very low RPM.

Turn the key off and restart and it goes away.

New impeller, new thermostat, good discharge from the tell tale.

My owners manual only speaks of a beeping alarm, not a continuous one.

Anyone know what's up?

Thank you!

Continuous should be overheat.... Maybe your sensor is going bad.

Have an IR gun? If so shoot the heads when it starts going off.

I wrote in your other thread,
I thought 4 stroke oil pressure alarm was for out of range for the RPM it was running at on some motors, could be wrong, but too high or too low of a pressure might cause an alarm

monitor the oil pressure

Could be. The puzzling part is that it only happens in neutral. If it was an overheat problem, wouldn't happen while in gear?

No, I don't have an IR gun but I just might pick one up.

I'm guessing maybe not. More water flow in gear with higher rpm.
