Connecting water heater to engine ? Advice needed !

Can someone help please I am replacing my hot water heater but the supply and return lines where removed from my Merc 350 mag engine and I cant figure out where to put them back. I found one blue butterfly plug in the front of the motor (see picture) which I think is the hot water supply connection but I cant figure out where to put the return. Please help ? thanks

In most cases one connects to the engine circ pump and the other is near the front stbd side of the intake manifold

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... In yer 1st picture, top left corner, the looped hose is where it goes,....
Hot water comes outa the manifold side, 'n is returned to the circulatin' water pump,.....
