A friend gave me a tach for my motor.<br /><br />This one has no brand on it, just a setting srew for the number of Pulses/revolution, a +12V connector, a Ground connector, and a connector for the number of Pulse per rev. .<br /><br />I have figured out the +12V and the ground (!!) but I do not know exactly where to connect the "pulse" one.<br /><br />I have tried the wire dedicated to the tach, but it does not work.<br />Should I try to get the "pulse" from the wires coming from the sensor coils ?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Bertrand<br /><br />Motor info:<br /><br />The engine is a 65HP Evinrude, # 653 73R, serial B2496, year is 1973<br /><br /><br /><br />------------------
