Congratulations to the Boeing Corp. for selling up to 115 Dreamliners to Australian airline Qantas: nice to know that despite the downturn and problems we've recently discussed about the auto industry in America, the airliner industry seems to be doing pretty good for itself.<br /><br /><br />Full story here

Boeing has had it's share of difficulties too. But that contract will help. <br /><br />As long as they continue to do work for the military, Boeing will do fine. They just debued the new stealth un-manned spy plane/bomber the other day.

That contract ought to add a few pence to Boing’s coffers, while keeping a good number of people employed into the foreseeable future.
