Confussed!!

I have a 1974 Johnson 85 rewired all the grounds today and some of the other wiring.. put gas 50:1 in it fired right up shut it off restarted it fired up again. put the engine cover back on lifted the engine up so i can travel with it got it to the state park put it in the water let the engine down no start.. Brought it back home took out all the plugs checked the Spark. ( have bright Blue ) and gas but not starting.. but if i leave the engine down over night go out the next morning it will fire right up.. What would be causing this.. Also i have noticed that my number 4 cylender some times will fire and some times not but when i move the coil pack to a different piston it fires.. im confused as to what can be going on i has the carbs rebuilt and new plugs that it calls for

Ok just switched around the coil packs and i have spark on my number 2 but the rest are dead i dont get it.. how can all 3 coil packs go out at once or could it be my wiring?
