confirmation about restrictor plate manifold riser Volvo Penta 3.0 GS

hey gents ! this year my engine gets as a precautionary move a new manifold riser . but i.m confused about the restrictor plate installation . i know there was a bulletin to install it otherwise than described in the manual - does somebody has verified info or a link in which position this plate has to be installed ?

Hi there, you'll be able to find the answer to this question on post #8 in the first link below. Be sure to read post #1 for the question. Unfortunately this was a tough one to find and confirm due to the date the question was asked. It would have been an easy one for Don to help with had he still been able to be here with us on that particular day. RIP Don, you are truly missed by all.
