compression

Hi, I have a 1973 Ted Williams 7.5 with a tecumseh engine. It is a single cylinder 2 stroke and i was wondering what i should consider as accectable compression (DRY). I know this motor depends on compression suction to pulse the fuel pump but i can't find the spec for compression. Thanks Dave

I own a 7.5 Tecumseh powered Sears outboard and get 90#, but my brother has an old Clinton with a Tecumseh and it runs great on 70#. What is your compression?<br /><br />------------------<br />I'm going to invent a TCW3/citronella oil blend and make a fortune!
