Compression Test & Spark Plug Grounding

When doing a compression test the manual states to ground all spark plug leads for saftey and to keep from harming the ignition system. Would removing the saftey kill switch lanyard accomplish the same thing?

what the hell is runscape money .yes they will probaly stick ya.
i balieve you can pull lanyard thats what i do and havent lost powerpack yet
