compression small johnson 86 8hp

What should the compression be on one of these that has just been overhauled? I can't find it in my manual.

I just ran a cold test on mine at 85 and 90. While they're not that far apart, they both seem awfully low compared to other outboards i have tested.

Is it about time for an overhaul? thanks, chris

I checked mine cold and got 110 then hot and got 130('81 50 Rude) so if you get the same gain you should be around 100-105 which is pretty good, if it runs good I would leave it alone, no sense doing something you don't have to.
