This motor looks impeccable and was told it had low hours. Starter motor was non operational so I bought it as-is non running but the owner promises the motor runs great without problems.

So, I replace the starter and do a compression test. Did not try to start the motor yet. Here are the results;
#1 - 140psi
#2 - 125psi
#3 - 135psi
#4 - 130psi

Results look good to me, what do you think?

One you do get it running, decarb the motor with some SeaFoam (or similar) and it might even out the compression readings even more.

Seafoam was on my to-do list.

Is there ANY possibility of doing damage using the seafoam? Have had a can in the shed for quite awhile but afraid to use it.

SeaFoam will not hurt your engine.
