Does anyone know the suggested compression range for a Tohatsu M40D? Are there any published or available references?

Is your Tohatsu 40D a 2strokes, 2 cylinder engine same model as 40 C (compact) or is it a 2 strokes, 3 cylinder engine ? Advise.

I just did mine, 2006 3 cylinder m40d2, and each came out at 130psi. They will all differ, but as long as they are all within 5% of each other or so You're okay.

102 PSI........Don't worry about the number as long as it is even on all three cylinders.
