I've always heard that compression numbers should be within 15psi. After my rebuild on my 98 115 I have some odd numbers. I wish now I had replaced all pistons but hind sight is 20/20.
Anyway in cylinders 1,2,&4 I reused the original pistons and just used new rings. Cylinder 3 is bored out .030 over with a new piston. The compression numbers I am getting is 115 in 1&2 110 in 4 and 125 in the rebored cylinder 3. Is this going to be a problem in the future?
Oh I forgot to mention I have about an hour runtime on the motor since rebuilding.
