my engine overheated one cylinder is 65 and the other is 150..i added some oil and no change..can i get away with just replacing the rings on one side??? could the reed valves be broken instead???

you stuck the rings,, pull it apart and see how the piston and cylinder look and go from there,, you will only need to do 1 piston if the other one looks ok, however you may only need to resurface the head and replace the head gasket as kawasaki usually blows a head gasket when it overheats, you won't know that without tearing it down on the top end though
