I am as much against illegal immigration and as much for stopping it as any of my radical conservative friends, but.<br /><br />Too many are painting all immigrants and all hispanics with the "illegal drain on resources" brush. That is just plain racism. <br /><br />Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California were populated by hispanic Mexicans before we honkys even showed up. They were Mexican territory. Texas was taken away from Mexico by mostly illegal immigrants from the USA. NM, AZ and CA were ceded to the US as a fine for losing the war of 1848.<br /><br />Let's focus on the illegals and leave our fellow citizens and legal immigrants alone.

Please tell me how this is racist? Much like the silly B.S. regarding racial profiling, you simply have to ignore the obvious and fall back to the "racist" comment. Do we have an influx of Italian illegals? Pakistani? Icelandic illegals? No, we have an issue with mostly Mexican or Hispanic illegals. Just like the anti-terrorist responses provided by our own government. In an attempt to appear "non racist" they allowed young Muslim men to pass unopposed while searching old women in wheelchairs and infants in carseats. Fortunately no other attacks have occurred but I can't say it was due to any screening successes. <br /><br /> It's a joke- take it as a joke and laugh at it as a joke and let it go. It seems the only thing we can make light of anymore is the American White Male and Christianity. Everything and everyone else is taboo.
