So today i decided after a long weekend i would go and hit up the puget sound and maybe catch some flounder and sharks. it all started when i got to the bait house where i ended up having to park amost a mile away:facepalm: okay took that one in stride. next after getting bait i went to the peir where i got hooked in the hat once and then hooked in the head right after i got the same guys hook outa my hat. the guy on the other side of me then smashed me in the head with his huge 8 oz weight, thankfully it was a cannonball style and not a pyramid or rectangle style or i would been bleeden much worse. needless to say my day was cut well short. its amazing how a pink salmon run will drag some complete non fishermen type to try and do. (not tryen to dog on people who dont fish just the ones pretend to when salmon run). now to just get my boat fixed and no more people i dont want to see fishing arround me........ rant over

oh man sounds like no one is considerate or a kind fisherman where you went, know the feeling my brother clocked me in the ear bass fishing with a rapala broken rap shad one time. needless to say i cut his line and left it in till we got back to the dock.

One guy hooks your hat & your head then the guy on the other side belts you with a sinker, I think they were trying to tell you something.
You're not 'that guy' who pushes in where there's no space are you?

Don't bathe for a few days before you go and eat chili and boiled eggs for supper the night before and you'll have all kinds of room to fish.

eh, thats salmon fishermen for ya. i've seen some pretty wierd crap watching salmon fishermen they tened to be rude and dont care they leave big messes like fishing line and eggs every where. some truely may not know how to do it others just hate poeple fishin in there "spot" always fun to watch em never fun to join em. i do know what its like to be hit in the head with a pole/reel then my mother insisted on reeling her line it hitting me on the head with each crank, never fun.

no lie i think i've seen/smelled a few poeple trying that tactic problem is they all try it then they all stand in the stench thinking the guy next to them will leave.
