Thats what I call the Great Lakes.

Finally at the end of last week our temps climbed above freezing. Monday was high in the lower 50's. Monday night before going to be was 45.

Wake up this morning (tues) to snow and a low of 15. I love those lakes, but it sure seems like the cold likes em to!

Pea-numonia weather. That's what me mum calls it. 64 yesterday. Wake up to 26* and about an inch of snow on the ground. Getting really tired of it......and I ain't old.....just aging to perfection..... :)

So you Canadians like to share your weather eh?
Next Alberta Clipper sent to the midwest will result in our retaliation. We will send Hillary Clinton to visit, and eventually stay to become your Prime Minister. Is that understood???? :D :D

Temperatures dropped from +5C (41F) to -17C (1F) in about 5 hours yesterday. Had rain and warm temperatures day before and everything is now frozen solid. They called it a flash freeze. You could almost watch the puddle freeze up. Will winter never end ?
WillyB the air doesn't leak down .... we send it down and theres lots more where it came from :D :D :D What was that about global warming ?

I just figured out why it got cold so fast. Ladyfish turned her head to the south again. Mr. Ladyfish could you please turn her towards the north? Then maybe the hot air will return :p

Ahhh Geeeesh, This is March, spring is around the corner. Then why is it 8*F this am? I am truely depressed to the utmost.

As soon as my wife finishes her degree, we are gonna move where the weather degrees are higher for sure. This weather sure cuts into the short boating season that we already have.

Sorry for ranting, I know it doesn't do any good. Just getting tired of keeping the wood burner going. It was nice having a few days off from keeping it going. Just about out of the wood put aside for this past seasons heating. I have no more seasoned wood, just all green stuff.

Re: Cold weather magnet

The real reason it has gotten colder in the north since last week is that the original blonde came to Texas for a visit. Our temps have gone up steadily since Sat. That and the fact that the FIL hasn't stopped talking since he got off the plane. My ears are bleeding. :D

I love 'em and we're having a blast. Taking them fishing Friday, should have at least one stupid human trick to post.

The Chesapeake must be magnetized too.
My thermometer read 12 degrees this morning.
It was strange to hear the spring birds chirping when it's so cold.

Ed are you sure they were chirping? I think their beaks and knees were chattering! :D

Snow still in our forcast for the next 5 days. We just might go above freezing by next wednesday. Our average high right now is surpose to be about 42 and the low of 24. Uh,,,, the average low was our high for the day. Teens and probably single digets again tonight. God Bless my wood burner. Fuel oil saved is fuel for the boat.
