Cobra Shift Rod Adjustment

First post here Hope I don't foul up!
Searched high and low in the forum for the adjustment height of a 1989 Cobra 4.3L lower unit shift rod. All my OMC factory manual gives me is a part # of 912227.
Does anyone know the measurement points , and the right distance for this adjustment?

Thanks for the reply Don , but I need the measurement for the shift rod that the bellcrank moves in the lower unit to shift gears.
Didn't find that measuement anywhere at the hastings site. Very good for shift cable adjustments thou.
Was hoping someone might have the OMC tool and could tell me the length of rod settings.
