Cobra Outdrive Swap

i have a stamas 26 ft with a chevy 350 5.7 with what i believe to be a king cobra out drive / my question is can i put a regular cobra out drive on my boat

I'm not sure the differences on the Cobras for gearing and coupling, but one of the other guys will be along soon.

Show us a picture of your current drive so we can see what you already have. Some drives labeled as King Cobra were still dog clutch drives.

Also, year and/or model numbers will help a lot.
