Cobalt Keys

How many keys come with a new Cobalt boat? Can you make copies of the keys or do you have to get them from the dealer?

I believe two keys were delivered with the boat. A local locksmith cut additional keys for me with no problems.

I believe my Cobalt factory keys had an alpha code stamped on them implying that a genuine Cobalt dealer would have additional keys "on a rack" and ready to go (ala Mercury keys.)

FYI, The newer keys from cobalt is a little over $40.00 each.
