Cobalt was one of the upper end pleasure boats sold around here back in the '70-80 time line when I boated the most. Being upper end they would use SS hardware rather than plated, and put backing plates behind davit hardware and all. On engine and related things, the engine mfgr. had a standard engine package and that pretty much specified that all the associated parts were identical for all engines they built so there would be no advantage there. However, things like closed cooling system and power steering, maybe a stainless steel prop and such could be on an upper end rig.
I considered a purchase at the time as a passing thought but they were out of my price range.
