CMC tilt unit????

ok my manual tilt unit for my 1990 model 48hp johnson is shot. it is pretty much stuck. will one of those CMC tilt units do the job if i go go power tilt or should i try to find a johnson/Evinrude power tilt unit?

I have a CMC tilt and trim unit and it works great. It also moves the motor back 5 inches for better bite and more speed and raises the motor another 1 inch above the transom.
