CMC PT130 Tilt and Trim Issues

Yesterday I was testing everything in my boat making sure it was ready to hit the water when I found my tilt and trim actuator motor shorted out. I've dug all over the internet and have yet to find replacement parts for the CMC PT130 actuator and all I need is the brush motor. I don't feel like shelling out $400 for another actuator, is there a company that specializes in building the brush motor I need or could I get away with using a different brand actuator with the CMC jackplate? I'd prefer to rebuild what I have but if necessary can I use say a Lenco electric actuator in it's place? I'm running a 75hp Johnson Stinger.

The shop I got my alternator rebuilt in they had motors of every shape and size I would think your Permanent Magnet 12VDC Motor would be easy.
