hey all i have a 1448 alll weld with a 25 hp motor, i want to get a prop that will give me the best top speed but still get my boat on pane i will be getting a power trim so that should help me get on plane fairly easy with whatever i go with. and aso i will be raisng my motor as high up as i can without cavitating so would cupping help a prop run shallower so it wont blo out? please help me on what pitch i should go with for my set up and if cupping would help or not, and also what diameter would help top end. as of right now i have no idea what i have on for pitch or diamater as i jsut bought the motor and the guy did not know what he had. all i know is that is a 3 blade aluminum and i am getting about 26mph and want around 30. thanks for the help

4mph is a huge gain....
If the prop you have now is un-cupped, go with the same pitch in a cupped prop of the same design.
You'll see about a 200-300 rpm drop with the engine tucked....you "should" get that back with trim out.

As allready said 4 mph is a real chunk. What do you have in the boat?
To do it right for best performance and the health of your motor we need to know the year and brand of motor?2 or 4 stroke?present prop size (on the barrel or under the prop nut).Present max rpm and speed.
The Turning Point Rascal prop should help at a reasonable price, size will depend on your
present performance.
