cleaning the perspex screen

any one got any good ways of cleaning and polishing a perspex/acrylic screen. i have a dell quay centre consol and have a few scratches in the centre of the screen, i would like to polish these out but not sure waht to use. cant replace coz company gone bust and spares are very hard to get hold of. im open to any good ideas and suggestions as someone out there must have same propblem.

Mcquires (sp?) sells a plastic polish that is used on aircraft windshields. I have used it on windshields on motorcycles and it works great. I use a low speed buffer. You can get one that has a little "cut" in it to remove shallow scratches. <br />Usually availabe at the local auto parts stores.

I've used "Flitz" polish on Lexan motorcycle windshields, and on the front screen of a car stereo. It takes a long time, but the results were good.
