How do you guys go about cleaning or getting off a seasons worth of junk off your bronze/nibral props?

I tried using a random orbital sander with 220 grit paper but its going very sllooowww.

Is there a quicker way? Anyone use a wire wheel on a drill? Any other tricks?

have not heard from you in a while. brass wire wheel, to get the worst. then sand, is my best guess. never had the problem, as i have always dry stored.

Greg, You need to use your boat more, to keep the buildup down. On my I/O SS prop I use a putty knife to scrape 'em, wire brush to get the grass off and then sandpaper to get any residue.
