Hi All,

What a great boat this is, and I was thinking of a place we fellow owners can post interesting/useful infomation on this classic Sea Ray.

CSR is the SeaRay site, just like this place there are a lot of great people there with a lot of SeaRay knowledge, I know this because I am a member in both places. Having said that, there is also a SeaRay thread here, traffic there is kind of slow, not sure if there are not a lot of SR owners here or what. This is a great site and there is a lot of knowledge here on just about any subject. Be an active member in both.

I have searched high and low for another 260ov thread but don't find anything. The classic section on CSR is technically 89 or older and OVs were made later, for example mine.

The 260ov is an interesting boat, it's much, much longer than a 26 footer and is an amazing handling boat. The hulls for the 280 sunrunner and 27 Pachanga seem to be almost identical and the OV came in many different configurations. How many are still running this boat? Do you have any tips/tricks you would like to share?

Performance Express Cruisers are a fairly small market overall. Some manufacturers carried lines in a number of sizes. Donzi and Formula come to mind. Many other builders have made SS designed boats in this category.

As you have seen, not many "enthusiast's" of that particular boat out there now. Nice boat in it's day, but as has been said, a small market then, and
even smaller now.
