I have a Clarion APX290M amp on my 2005 Sea Ray 320. My salon speakers weren't working. I tried to diagnose the problem when I noticed the power light wasn't turning on when I activated the breaker. I disconnected the positive, and negative wires from the amp, and ran new wires from the breaker, and negative post to the amp. The amp turned on, and my salon speakers worked when I activated the breaker. However, the amp would turn on, and off like every 10 seconds, and noticed the power light would come on, and off as well.
I didn't run a new remote, but not sure if I needed it. I did notice a blue wire behind the radio wasn't connected. Again, I didn't think it was needed if the amp turned on, and worked when I activated the breaker.
