Well I looked around last week for a place to post this. I finally decided not to post it and let it slide but the circumstance bothered me and I had to get it out. I decided to post it here. If this is not correct please move it to the appropriate forum. Last Sat. (22, Jan) I went to the Cincy boat show with my wife. I dressed in jeans and a button up shirt. I don't drink. We went to every boat dealer present, all were visited more than once during the day some I walked through several times. Not one salesman asked if they could help us. The show was not busy, in fact for a Sat. it was a very small crowd. I used to work the show before retirement so I'm familiar with how large the crowds can be. I cannot understand how this can happen. In several of the booths were salesmen who where not with anyone. It became a game as to how long I could rub on a boat or motor and be ignored. They outlasted me! I will probably end up having to buy from one of these dealers as most if not all dealers from this area had booths. I will remind them of my experience on this day. It just aggravates me that they can complain about business being bad or down when they do such a poor job taking care of business. This show used to be 2 floors packed with merchants, and big crowds for about 10days, now it's down to 1 floor and closed through the week only 7 days.
