85hp Chrysler, putting the water pump back on after resealing the L/U and for the life of me I can't remember the order of the gasket/wear plate. Its funny how having it disassembled for so long has made me question things I always just knew before. Ok so anyway I ordered a new Water pump gasket from iboats and they sent a pack of two, the quicksilver pack only comes with one, so first off just to clarify, I just need to use one gasket correct?
Second, I'm fairly certain on this but want to make sure, the gasket goes under the wear plate then the water pump goes directly against the wear plate right?
I just want to make sure before I put this thing back together.
