Chrysler/ volvo stern drive

My brother purchased a 18 ft ALUMACRAFT with an i/o on it , chrysler by volvo it says on the out drive. White in color. The engine is a 4cyl volvo. Does any one know about these stern drives?

Your best bet may be to post some pictures of the whole rig..... from the front of the engine to the prop of the drive.... the more the better your responses may be!!!!

This boat is put away for the winter , so I cant show any photos. The best way I could describe this boat is 1967 or 1968 Turqouise and white.The other boats we own are ,14 ft Belmar ALUMACRAFT, 16 FT Maracaicbo both with Evinrude and Johson outboard motors. Both out board boats have the same paint schemes. Two tone Turqouise and white. The Alumacraft I/O with the Volvo Crhysler I/O has the same paint scheme. I know this hard to understand but some one has must have seen this confuguration at some time or another.

One thing I do know..... your either not going to be able to find parts for it, or whatever you do find is going to be rediculously expensive.
