Chrysler Slant Six - identification???

I have a 1966 Lone Star with a Chrysler Slant Six. The valve cover is marked "Chrysler 150 HP" and gives a lot of maintenance information but I can NOT find a nameplate on this engine! It is not on either side of the block, not on either end of the block, and isn't on the bell housing (in any location I can see)! The only place I haven't checked is the bottom of the oil pan!

I am assuming the engine is a 225, it is definitely marine, but I would REALLY like to have the proper model number.

Anybody know where else they might hide it????

Thanks!

I cant remember when the 225 was produced but I think it was later than 1966.
there was also a 170 and a 194 slant six.
but wow that goes back to many years and memory gets fuzzy.
only thing I can remember is parts are about impossible to find for chysler marine stern drives.
some volvo parts fit the drive but not many.

According to Slant Six sources, the 225 was produced from 1960 to 1976 (http://www.allpar.com/slant6.html) and was the only engine in the 'slant six' line rated near 150 HP.

The outdrive on my Lone Star isn't even "re-branded" - it is a Volvo Penta 270.

Thanks achris - I bought the manual. :D
