Does anybody know anything about theis 15 foot fiberglass boat. I saw a 1973 that is in good shape but I don't know its reputation. Can anyone give me any idea?

Re: Chrysler Courier 154

I can't talk about that particular model but I had a 78 Chrysler that I enjoyed for 10 years and I knew someone else that did as well but both boats eventually developed blistering and signs of delamination on the hull so I would suggest meticulously looking over the hull below the waterline looking for any signs of it.Also check the floor and under the deck where possible (especially in the bilge area) looking for any possible signs of rot due to the age of the boat.

Blue, I can't believe I ran accross your post. I own that same boat same year with a Chrysler 105 outboard since "1985". What a fun boat. I purchased from first owner with 45hp and changed to 70hp but got ripped off, then purchased 105hp from trusted shop. It has been in and out of service ever since, longest down time (full of leaves) was nine years. I had a pro repair a hull accident and he told me he check out the boats hull and was very impressed with condition. He said the hull was about 3/4" thick and in great shape. Wood stringers gone but he said it didn't matter the hull was a tank. Good luck and enjoy!
